Trudeau tables proposal to move Question Period to TikTok
"Let's make Canada hip again!"
The Trudeau Liberals have requested Question Period be moved to TikTok.
During Question Period the Liberals made their case while the Conservatives opposed the plan in a heated exchange.
“It’s time to get with the times,” Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said in the House of Commons. “Question Period is outdated. It revives bad memories of white privilege and racism. It’s only a fringe minority of people who watch or care for Question Period. I say right here, Mr. Speaker, let’s make Canada hip again!” he thundered to the applause of three Liberals.
The Conservatives, for their part, responded, ‘Mr. Speaker, when was it ever hip? The Prime Minister thinks it’s drama class all the time.”
Trudeau replied, “Mr. Speaker, I will remind the opposition we’ve been hip since 2015! The Conservatives offer nothing to Canadians. Drama class? The only class we think about is the middle class. “
Social media experts weighed in assessing the plan saying, “The government certainly plays the part of shallow and talentless hacks. So TikTok is a natural fit.”
The idea is gaining traction among the Liberal faithful. #tiktokanswersquestions is trending on Twitter started by Rhonda. “I think it would be more fun. Have a question take it to TikTok. You can even dance to it if you want. I just hope that fascist Elon won’t ban our initiative,” she said.
