Greta: Overturning Roe v. Wade will make climate change permanent.
"There's no changing this."
Speaking at Davos, Greta Thunberg took dead aim at the leak from the Supreme Court of the United States revealing it may overturn Roe v . Wade one of the most controversial rulings in American history.
“We must stop this!” Greta thundered. “It is well known banning abortions will lead to more climate changes! If this happens, there’s no changing this. It will be permanent. PERMANENT!” she stammered pounding her fist into the podium.
When she was asked to clarify particularly the part that the ruling would apply to states’ rights and not ban abortions, she answered, ‘How dare you?!” to resounding applause from those in attendance.
“I think she was on point,” Kamala Harris said. “It doesn’t really matter if it’s true. What matters is that abortion allows for people to think big. To imagine a world they could never dream of. I was that little girl.” as the audience politely listened unsure of the message.
“God damn I love that girl!” Justin Trudeau shouted from his seat. His outburst was not well-received as someone shouted, ‘Oh shut up you loon!”
Climate scientist from the University of Science Boogaloo Wilheim ‘Willy” Holdinger was proud of Thunberg. ‘She said what was needed to be said. For too long we’ve ignored the abortion-clime link.”
Environment Minister, and former eco-terrorist, Stephane Guilbeault added, “Environmental racism and bigotry has got to stop and we trust and hope the Justices will rethink their decision long and hard. Long….and hard.”
Thunberg continues her ‘Smiling for Climate’ tour for the rest of May before ending in Ottawa where the government has asked her to speak in the House of Commons.
