College academic claims grieving is 'right-wing extremism' citing study.
Want to grieve? Think again. Study suggests you might be a victim of extremism.
Citing a study by The We Hate Hate Foundation, a college professor at the University of Palm Trees Boogaloo was recorded telling students that the act of grieving is ‘right wing extremism’.
The recording was released by a student on social media two days ago. The professor expressed her views in the aftermath of the assassination of Charlie Kirk directly referring to his widow Erika Kirk who spoke during a memorial in his honour.
In the recording the professor - Juliana Haynnis is heard saying, “It’s ok to feel uncomfortable when racists grieve. There’s something very strange about it. Like gardening and exercising at the gym, it strikes people - perhaps myself included - as right-wing extremism. This study proves it.”
The study suggests grieving is an emotional-construct built by conservatives wanting to maintain their white privileged violence. One of the authors, Rosy Spewberg, told us by email that “if we truly want an egalitarian society, then we can’t have people being easily manipulated into grieving when others don’t have the opportunity to do so.”
Two students confronted the professor but she scoffed them off replying, “Come at me bitches. No one can touch me,” as she made a lewd gesture. “You’re free to fuck right off and die. I won’t grieve you nazis. Trust me.”
The students left the class and have filed a complaint the university’s depanrtnmet.
Further investigations into Haynnis revealed a pattern of such rhetoric including proclaiming ‘there oughta be a law against right-wing grieving.”
Hyannis’s position is shared by others including far left politicians. One in particular - MP Bev Hightard - recently posted on X that she agreed that grieving a loved one can make others feel alienated. “Not everyone has someone in their life they can bang let alone grieve. Typical of the selfish right. Sign my petition ban grieving in public spaces!”
Not to be outdone. The Canadian government is considering designating the act of grieving as a hate symbol in Bill C-9.
A vocal critic of the plan by Attorney-General Sean Fraser said, “You already messed up two portfolios when not make it three, eh Sean?”
“Grieving is a normal and essential part of human emotions, “explained Levi Herps a psychologist at Herp’s Derp Psyche Evaluation Services. “I don’t know what these bozos are smoking.”
The university put out a statement saying it’s looking into the matter while placing Professor Haynnis on paid leave. “We are aware of the leaked audio circulating on social media about Professor Haynnis. The University of Palm Trees Boogaloo takes academic freedom seriously and understand and respect the grieving process for everyone. Even for nazis who should be killed. We are currently reviewing the audio and expect to render our decision after we first try to cover it up.”
